The SSPR Council envisage our Meetings being virtual until at least the End of 2020, when we will review the situation and consider Government Guidelines at the beginning of 2021.

WHO WE ARE

The Scottish Society for Psychical Research, is a registered Scottish educational charity. It was founded in 1987 by the late Prof Archie Roy, an Emeritus Professor of Astronomy at Glasgow University.

The Society is the largest & oldest continuous organisation in Scotland dedicated to investigating the Paranormal.

We have a monthly lecture programme which runs from September to May: on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at The Glasgow Theosophical Society (Theosophy House) at 7.30 pm.

Our Investigation Group Meetings are taking a break at the moment. But will return soon with a Vigil! Join to find out more!

All are welcome to attend and we pride ourselves on being a friendly group.

The Society itself holds no corporate view on the reality or nature of ‘the paranormal’ and we welcome believers, sceptics and critical thinkers alike.

Members (Attendees pay no entrance fee for 2020-21)     Visitors £5

  1. Would it be possible to become a member now that it’s past October deadline? I was looking to come along to the Fungus and Folklore talk on 21st November and pay the fees on the night but not sure if this is acceptable. I would appreciate any info on this enquiry.

    Many thanks
